"Les Dirigeants Africains"
Bamako rap trio SMOD describe their sound as “African rap ‘n’ folk”. It’s a stripped-down, laid-back groove that happily slipstreams the catchy Malian pop which went global with Amadou & Mariam. No surprise then to discover one of SMOD is their son (Sam).
